I support this proclamation because…

  1. I grew up in a closed minded and flat out anti gay church. As a gay woman it scarred me & hindered my relationship with God. Now of course I know better but thanks to this proclamation I feel more support than I ever have. Thank you so much!

  3. Experience among LGBT folk over years of ministry and professional work in other areas makes it clear that either the Bible is not speaking about Homosexuality as we know it or the cultural limitations are superseded by new knowledge as has happened in areas of medicine, psychology, history, archeology and anthropology. It is a matter of justice.
